Turn right from the Stadium to the bus/tram station. There will be five trams and five buses at that location after the planned post-match holdback; to enable local fans to egress the Stadium which will reduce congestion.

Unless you leave very early Metro won't be an option after the match ,but buses and trams back to Old town area,or Uber/Bolt.
They said they will direct fans towards public transport. You should pay to travel ,it's about 50p tap card on machine in vehicle you use.@FawMacsen

Please be careful with taxis at the airport,one group just got charged 600 Leu nearly ยฃ100 from city centre ...bolt or Uber to airport from city is usually about a tenner bus or train is less than ยฃ2

Went down the stadium for another look around.Tram 47 took me all the way from Piata unirii city centre old town to a few hundred yards away from the stadium, nearly 7k, for 50p.
