Today is one of the happiest days of my life. We had the first day of the @WeCodeToo Summer Academy! We had 15 African American and Latinx boys and girls on hand! Much love to @HackCville for hosting us! Much love to @Mr_Reedy and the @UVA iLab for making time for us!

Today was a dream come true...about 4 years ago I ran the CoderDojo summer academy for Albemarle, and I was kicking myself b/c maybe 5-10% of the participants looked like me. I remember saying that I’m going to do something about...now we have our own academy @WeCodeToo!
