A few rounds of strong to potentially severe t-storms along with some heavy rainfall are possible Sun pm into the evening ahead of a strong cold front. A Slight Risk (Level 2 of 5) is in effect across most of eastern NY & western New England with damaging winds possible.

The main threat for severe thunderstorms will be damaging winds 58 mph or greater that can bring down large tree limbs, trees and power lines.
