Today we welcomed Dion from @BreckFound, a charity focused on educating & empowering young people to navigate the digital world safely & confidently. Dion spoke to Y7-10 about online grooming through the story of Breck Bednar and gave practical strategies for staying safe online.

👋 On Thursday evening (6-7pm), we look forward to welcoming our new Year 7 students as they meet their Form Tutors for the first time.

Today’s @Panathlon Wirral Primary Schools SEND Primary Panathlon event at Ellesmere Port Sports Villege, Cheshire within @WirralSG - 31 pupils from four schools attended this event, really fun all this morning! Congrats to Raeburn Primary School of Bromborough won this event instead of Eastway, Birkenhead High School Academy and Fender Primary School. Well done to them. Thanks to 15 great leaders from @WeatherheadHigh of Wallasey with their great roles to helped the children to be learnt better and improve their confidence. 👏👍

8W produced Time Capsules dating back to WWI for a History project. Each capsule contained a newspaper report on the Battle of the Somme, a diary from a soldier in the trenches and a medical journal detailing key medical improvements made during the war.

Year 9 students have been creating beautiful garden focaccia bread art for their end of term assessments. Each focaccia has been carefully decorated with vegetables and herbs to create garden inspired scenes. 🌿🍞🍅
