We've clocked 100 Lectures to help you learn the foundational math required for Programmable Cryptography, implemented in Rust 🦀with a focus on Zero Knowledge Proofs. You'll also find Circom and Noir tutorials. Dig in.... youtube.com/playlist?list=PL…
Q2 2024,we gathered clear conviction to learn Math and Rust for Programmable Cryptography. Weekly bootcamps, daily webinars...3 months we sat with the difficulty, not much happened. It's good now seeing builders grasp and implement with speed. See some cohort work in thread....

Coach Shaun Lain challenged us to think beyond technical skills and ask a bigger question: what does it take to become the kind of person who can sustain success? Drawing from his own journey, he spoke about the role of IQ, EQ, and CQ, reminding founders and builders that knowledge alone is rarely enough. How you understand people, navigate different environments, and respond to challenges often matters just as much. A few key takeaways from the session: • Emotional intelligence is a skill that can open doors talent alone cannot. • Growth requires learning from people who have already walked the path. • Mentorship is most valuable when it comes from people who challenge and guide you with wisdom. • Your ideas, creativity, and unique perspective have value and deserve protection. • Understanding different cultures and perspectives can create opportunities you may never see otherwise. • One decision can completely change the direction of your journey. Don't underestimate your potential. Keep learning, keep growing, and don't be afraid to step into spaces that stretch you. Thank you, Coach Shaun Lain, for sharing your experiences, lessons, and perspective with the community. @base @BasedEastAfrica @CollegeTours_  #FoundersFriday #Web3Clubs #Leadership #EmotionalIntelligence

Built this for fun while playing with Claude Fable 5 ens-sites.vercel.app/ Write HTML/CSS/JS in the browser → live preview → one click pins it to IPFS and writes your ENS contenthash. Site becomes accessible at yourname[.]eth[.]limo. No servers, no build step, no middlemen. Your .eth name is a website now.

COHORT 10: The Creatures of AI WITH @denv3231  Don introduced the building blocks behind modern AI and how today's AI systems work. 1. Large Language Models (LLMs) - How AI generates text, images, and other content by recognizing patterns from large datasets. 2. Training AI Models - How models are trained and improved using feedback, helping them become more accurate and useful over time. 3. Context and Memory - AI can only process a limited amount of information at once and relies on techniques like summarization to handle longer conversations. 4. Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)- AI can retrieve external information to provide more relevant and up-to-date responses. 5. AI Tools in Action- How AI can move beyond answering questions to completing tasks. 6. AI Agents- We explored AI agents, which combine models, memory, tools, and planning to solve

Last week, Cohort 10 hosted @dalmasonto for a session on the Fundamentals of Web3. Over the previous sessions, we'd explored why blockchains exist and the core infrastructure that powers them. With Dalmas, we shifted the conversation to something more practical: *What does it actually mean to own something online?* We explored: • Smart contracts and why they matter • Tokens and digital assets • Digital ownership versus platform-controlled access • NFTs beyond the hype • Real-world examples of Web3 in practice Most of us spend our lives online, yet very rarely stop to ask what we actually own versus what we're simply being allowed to use. Thank you, Dalmas, for sharing your insights and helping the cohort think more deeply about the future of ownership on the internet 🙏 Session recording: youtu.be/MbVb8BVf0k0 #Web3Clubs #Web3Education #Blockchain #DigitalOwnership

In a lab session, we explored IoT fingerprint attendance systems. It raised a question: why are universities still using manual attendance for systems that affect exam eligibility? Technology isn’t just about tracking presence but building accuracy and trust in academic data.

"We're just an API layer." Famous last words. The moment you're: • holding funds • routing money • converting stablecoins • managing settlement you're no longer being evaluated as software. You're being evaluated as financial infrastructure.
Halima Murunga ( @HalimaMurunga )  walked us through COMPLIANCE INFO SESSION FOR WEB3 FOUNDERS, what happens when a product starts moving money and suddenly finds itself under the attention of banks, payment providers, and compliance teams. Some of the key points covered included: • How banks evaluate Web3 products and financial risk. • Compliance considerations around stablecoins, payouts, and money movement. • Why "we're just an API layer" isn't always a sufficient answer. • Common mistakes that can create regulatory exposure for startups. • What AML and compliance teams pay attention to when reviewing transaction flows • When a software product starts being treated like financial infrastructure The session was practical, direct, and grounded in the realities of building in African markets where regulation, payments, and digital assets increasingly intersect. If you missed it or would like to revisit some of the discussions, you can watch the full recording here:  >>> youtu.be/LjIH0NMk20U?si=cCOX… @base  @BasedEastAfrica

I attended "Creatures of AI" , a session by @Web3Clubs . The session explored modern AI systems — from tokens and context windows to how models are controlled through prompts and system design. Key takeaway: “You’re the sculptor of the output, not the developer of it.
