Good afternoon legends.
I’ve seen several tweets about this topic, and I’d like to share my constructive reflection; not as criticism, but as a different point of view.
Regarding the first tweet about potential rewards for Discord role holders: From my perspective, publishing speculative reward ranges can create unrealistic expectations within the community. I’m not saying those numbers are impossible, they might be, but at this stage we don’t know key factors like listing price, token allocation, total supply, or distribution mechanics.
When expectations are set too high without confirmed data, the risk is clear: if the outcome doesn’t match the hype, disappointment follows. And disappointment can damage community trust.
Instead of focusing on speculative numbers, it may be healthier to focus on how the project is developing, its fundamentals, its vision, and how it brings real value to the ecosystem. Sustainable growth is built on transparency and meaningful contribution, not assumptions.
Now regarding the second tweet claiming that “90% of Discord role projects are useless”:
I understand the frustration. There are definitely projects where community effort hasn’t been rewarded fairly. However, generalizing that most Discord role projects are useless might be an overstatement.
Every project is different. Some may not reward roles as expected, but others deeply value their community and consistently recognize effort and contribution.
Rather than saying “stay away from these specific projects”, especially when some haven’t even reached TGE, perhaps a more constructive message would be: stay away from projects that don’t value your time, effort, and consistency.
Join communities where your contribution is seen, appreciated, and rewarded.
That’s the real filter.
There are examples in the space where communities have been well rewarded. So instead of generalizing, maybe the conversation should focus on identifying healthy community dynamics and encouraging better standards across the ecosystem.
This isn’t criticism. It’s simply a reflection for all of us.
Communities are the foundation of any project. When they are respected, everything grows stronger.
Let’s build wisely.
