we knew from the beginning that avorah wouldn't be canon, but the showrunners never dismissed the idea as if it were an attack on the 'material'. they were always very respectful, and the best episodes are the ones where they explore those dynamics.

also how their showrunners listened to their audience and made a whole avorah fake dating au episode to compromise and it turned out to be one of the best episodes in the entire series.
