HUZZAH! All lanes of NB I-5 in Seattle reopened early! We completed work early Sunday, June 7.
Next step: Early Monday, June 8, express lanes return to AM southbound, PM northbound, until July 10, when we'll have another NB closure to reset the work zone and resume work.
UPDATE 3: The NB SR 99 First Ave Bridge in Seattle remains stuck in the upright position. Maintenance crews are troubleshooting and there is no ETA on reopening.
Traffic is being cleared off the NB bridge approach and the Holden St on-ramp is closed. Plan for delays.

Both directions of the SR 99 tunnel are closed Tues night (3/17) in downtown Seattle for emergency maintenance.
We have no estimate for reopening. People traveling through the area should use alternate routes.

Roadway Closure Water Main Break: East Marginal Way South and Diagonal Ave South. Northbound lanes closed between Hudson Street and Diagonal Ave South, South Alaska Street also closed. Avoid the area and use alternative route.
