WHAT YOU NEED TO DO:
🏠 Secure loose items around your property to prevent damage, and clear nearby sumps and gutters to prevent flooding.
❌ Avoid parks and reserves during strong winds and take care around coastlines and roads.
Wellington Water update: There has been a discharge of partially treated wastewater into Karori Stream, which flows into the sea on the South Coast, making the water at the point of discharge appear cloudy or murky and have a slight odour.
