On Tuesday and Thursday this week, WHS hosted students from Weller Road ES for their final days of a flag football after school program.
Big thanks to Mr. Lyst, Coach Howell and Coach Sturman for coordinating. It was nice to see WHS student-athletes helping future Knights.

A big shoutout and Congratulations to WHS Senior Ben Ploeger who was the MPSSAA District 2 male Minds in Motion Scholarship winner.
Ben earned 12 Varsity letters, 12 MiM awards in his 4 years at Wheaton and will be continuing his studies at the University of Maryland next fall!

Congratulations to Wheaton HS - Golf, Bocce, and Allied Softball Coach - Ed Ball.
Tonight he was recognized by the Maryland State Athletic Directors Association as one of two distinguished service awards for 2026.
Coach Ball is retiring at the end of this year from MCPS.

Class of 2029 Izzy Mason places 3rd in the 200 freestyle and 2nd in the 500 freestyle at the MPSSAA 4A/3A State Championships.
