Unfortunately, it’s been identified that additional strengthening work is required to the structure , as a result the bridge closure and traffic management will remain in place , the bridge is now scheduled to open towards the end of May .

Thank you to everyone who helped with our annual litter pick this weekend. Thanks also to our two young volunteers who join us every year to help keep our village tidy! This is just some of rubbish collected.

What a lovely evening we’ve had turning on the village lights. Thank you to Andrew for playing the organ, to Decibel’s for their wonderful performance, the children from Whitegate Primary School for their readings. Thanks to everyone for coming !

The Whitegate elves have been out setting up the tree! Thanks to our youngest helper. Thank you to Whitegate Primary School for decorating this year’s star.
