We are teased with a beautiful day today which would have been our home and season opener. These are my thoughts after the news of yesterday’s cancellation for the season.

Oilers win 13-1! Tonight’s Belt winner is sophomore Andrew Jimenez. Andrew was on base 5 times and threw a complete game on the mound. Oilers are back to .500 on the year at 10-10. Great job Whiting!!

Oilers win 10-0 in five innings. Belt winner is senior Tony Madrueno who had a complete game 1 hit shutout in only 38 pitches! He also added 2 hits. Great job Whiting!!

Whiting Baseball had a big 11-1 win vs Bishop Noll tonight. The Belt winner was senior Austin Crocker. He had 2 doubles and pitched a complete game to lead the way!! Great job Austin and great job Oilers!

Tonight’s Championship Belt winner is senior Derrick Bradley. Derrick had a huge 3 run triple to ignite the Oilers to a 6-1 win over Morton. He also played a great centerfield tonight. Great job Derrick and great job Oilers!
