That’s a wrap on the @RLWC2021 🏉 Incredible to watch the ace @englandrugbyleague wheelchair team smash it in the final against France on Friday, and lift that World Cup 🏆 Then onto the Men’s & Women’s finals yesterday, with two massive performances from Australia.

Over the last 13 days I've:
🚲 Cycled over 600 miles from Berwick to Cornwall
🤿 Swam Windermere (12 miles)
⛰ Climbed Scafell Pike
All to raise money for the England Physical Disability Rugby League team #TRiYforEngland
Please share & donate if you can: justgiving.com/crowdfunding/…
Admittedly Windermere should have only been 11 miles... but turns out missing half an arm makes you more streamlined and prone to drifting off course 😂
It's the FINAL DAY 🎉 Day 13 of my TRi/Y for England challenge. At points during this, I didn't know if we'd see the day! Thank you for all of the generous donations. Can we get it to £5k on my final day? Only £350 and 65 miles to go... 🦾

Why a Shirt Day?
Well, we wanted to raise money for good causes, but not everyone can do a run, walk or swim.
We decided that wearing a shirt is something EVERYONE could do & sharing it on Social Media to spread the love of RL

It’s a big one to end the physical disability rugby league (PDRL) season with… An international game on home soil 🦾🏴
(1/3)
We’re looking to make it 2/2 in this year’s international series & keep that unbeaten record! Wales made it a tough game in the last fixture, and both sides have learned things about each other, so it should be a big match.
(2/3)
It would be even more enjoyable watching the men’s Super League Grand Final at Old Trafford later with (fingers crossed) another win under our belts 🤞🏻🏉 Huge thanks to the @TheRFL for hosting us.
But first things first… Let’s do this!

Walking through Warrington last night, a woman stopped me for a photo.
Her friend said she didn’t know who I was, to which the woman replied:
“That’s Adam Hills. He’s a PDRL player!”

GRAND FINALS DAY 🏉
It’s been a great season playing with a fantastic bunch of people. It’s always an honour to pull on the amber and black, and to captain this squad.
We’ve been on a real journey as a team this year…
We’ve had some tough games, mostly thanks to injuries, but we’ve had lots of fresh faces and we’ve really come together at a squad.
It’s not all about results, but it sure is nice to win. So let’s see what we can do today 🦾
CAS v WIGAN
K/O 12 pm
These lot are absolute legends 👏🏻 Great to see my timeline full of rugby league shirts last week, and to top it off, they’ve raised over £800 for two brilliant charities 🏉
Thanks for all the countless hours you lot put in and for giving RL something more to be proud of🦾
We would also like to thank @looseforwardpod, @philisared and @Six_Again for all their work in setting up this Day and running it.
We have had a lot of fun coming up with things for #RLSD23 and we hope you enjoyed them.
We have many ideas for #RLSD24.
