@Humanities_KSS S2 had me doing a happy dance at the board today. Introducing the "explain" skill. Making the clear link between this skill and how we use it at N5 and H. Motivated, thriving, happy pupils - proud of them.

I call this "Waif of Govan Cross". It is my youngest son refusing to participate in the brilliant festivities arranged to celebrate the new bridge. Instead, he parked himself in front of Farmfoods. Wearing a puffa jacket. In the sun. Heart roasted.

It really was a lovely day - apart from my torn faced weans. It is a fantastic bridge - beautifully designed and representing so much in terms of opportunity. I felt quite emotional!
