Also caught up with the local Peregrines, I believe they're this year's chicks from Plymbridge. There were 3 but one flew off before I managed a picture

Spent half the day fishing and the other half watching Kestrels yesterday. My favourite bird 😍 nice to have the Sony bridge now to take out with me while fishing, not quite the same as having the Sigma but much easier to carry!

Forder Valley was full of insects today, even seen my first Marbled White. All the Ragwort along the path was covered, great to see

Probably selling my Sigma Sport 150-600 (Nikon) with teleconverter soon if anyone is after one? Bit the bullet and ordered the Sony bridge as I think I'll use it more often than the big lens. Possibly a D7500 too although I may keep that to use with other lenses

First time I've put the trap out this year and it was very quiet. This Fox Moth was the only one of note, not seen one before

Just got back to the car after fishing around Charleton Marsh and can hear my first Cuckoo of the year. Can't say I've heard or seen one around here before

It was a Green Woodpecker fest at Burrator this morning with at least 5 individual birds seen in one area! Making lots of chatting noises that I didn't know they made. Also a few singing Mistle Thrush and Buzzards
