This is a wake-up call for Starmer and Burnham.
Stop repeating the mistakes of the Conservatives and get serious about funding our armed forces properly.
We cannot afford years more political chaos while our national security is put at risk.

Many of my #Woking constituents have connections to Kashmir, why I’ve signed this cross-party letter by @Imran_HussainMP calling on the British Government to help de-escalate tensions.
As Chair of the APPG on Kashmir, our letter to the Foreign Secretary now has the support of over 50 Parliamentarians.
We remain deeply concerned by reports of a continued lockdown, a communications blackout, arrests and escalating tensions.
The UK Government must use all appropriate diplomatic channels to support de-escalation, the immediate lifting of the blockade, restoration of communications and a peaceful resolution through table talks that respect the human rights of Kashmiris at the heart of it.

According to @thetimes, the Government is set cap ground rents asap. Pleased my select committee colleagues and I are being listened to, but the Government still needs to go further and faster on leasehold reform!

I'm delighted that the Government have agreed to give Maybury Primary School and Westfield Primary School more money to improve their buildings - it's great news for our community.
I'll continue to push for more investment in local schools right across #Woking constituency.

Surrey's Steps to Change hub is based in #Woking and brings together services, such as the local authority, the police and domestic abuse charities.
Tragically, the hub is one of only two in the country, because it was really eye-opening to see the support that it provides.
