Dropping by to let everyone know that I spoke with @phillip_pon and we are working out a plan to create a discord for a great migration of the Cardano community from X. We can have happy, positive, well-moderated channels and leave behind the drama, lies, endless rage, and embittered people for a place where real conversations and real progress can be made.
I will continue broadcasting live streams to X as I have a million followers here, but will only take AMA questions from the new Cardano and current Midnight discords. I've seen some commentary that broadcasting means I'm back on X. For those people, I can't solve stupid.
Enjoy your scandals of the week and FUD. Real work is done elsewhere. Looking forward to Cardano ascending to better days, governance, and culture.

If Pokemon TCG really is having a breakout moment everyone gonna regret buying crypto gacha scams instead of the stock that actually makes money from every card printed. Not to mention the ultimate bailout for the company which is selling old games on iOS.

The thing people are missing about the TCG trade is that sealed is king. I like the cards but the sealed product is literally deflationary and like crack to those who have poor self discipline. Thats why Pokemon booster boxes are the blue chip in the TCG space.

The StakeDAO deployer private key (0x000755Fbe4A24d7478bfcFC1E561AfCE82d1ff62) was compromised. The attacker used it to reconfigure the LayerZero v2 OFT peer on the vsdCRV (Vote Boosted sdCRV) token contract, redirecting trust from the legitimate Ethereum-side vsdCRVOFTAdapter to an attacker-deployed malicious contract - then sent a forged cross-chain message that minted 5,446,744,073,709 vsdCRV (~5.4 trillion tokens).

After how the $aave team handled the LZ $zro hack incident I have to question their competence at this point.
@StaniKulechov why no restrictions in OFT assets? Why not go after LZ for full compensation? LZ team is continuing buybacks while Aave buybacks are paused?

By our calculations, $1.33B out of $4.4B of USDe's backing is lending against itself.
Here’s the rule we used:
Estimated self-lending = gross borrowing against USDe/sUSDe collateral × Ethena’s share of supplied liquidity in that market
So if a pool has $556M borrowed against USDe/sUSDe, but @ethena supplies 47.4% of the liquidity, we attribute ~$263M of that as Ethena-funded self-lending.
We’re not counting the full amount borrowed against USDe/sUSDe as “self-lending” where @ethena is not the only lender.
Using this pro-rata method, we get:
- Estimated Ethena self-lending: ~$1.33B
- Gross amount borrowed against Ethena assets: ~$1.67B
- Difference from pro-rata attribution: ~$336M
