I think it's pretty fair to say if you don't like the game part of a videogame you in fact do not like said game
no one even asks questions like this about boardgames
Is it okay to say you enjoy the game if you like the story/lore/aesthetics etc. but not the gameplay?
There are some games that I enjoy watching but wouldn't enjoy playing.
I feel like there's more nuance then just, "You can only like a game if you played it"
