I mostly check Twitter when I'm in the mood for some absolutely batshit takes. Ope, read my whole feed at The Other Place, time to fire up the Batshit Machine. Twitter is a lot of things, but it never fails to deliver some of the most unhinged takes from people I don't follow.

Guess who's getting a migraine because I couldn't get my preventative med in time because everyone from the pharmacy to the doctor to the insurance company is being terrible after finally getting out of a month long POTS and migraine flair four days ago?

Does anyone know any books with a narrator like Lemony Snicket that is NOT A Series of Unfortunate Events, which triggers of 'not being listened to or helped while helpless' nightmares? I love the narration style &want to try it in a novel, but can't handle the books or show.

Just finished fixing everything in my edit notes. The trilogy I started in January is ready for betas. Anyone want to beta a YA urban fantasy with blood magic, magical witness protection, sapient magic, & an aro/ace autistic MC about surviving & rebuilding yourself after trauma?

The trilogy is 372,500 words total. I'd be willing to trade manuscripts. I run a writing group & am told I'm a good editor. I'm looking for feedback about if it's interesting, clear, makes sense, what you think about the characters and magic system, etc, more than line edits.

Really hate having to scroll past 100s of unhinged blue check replies trying to rage farm in the comments before finding any real reaction to a wide reaching tweet. Half the time I can't even find the end of it. I know real people are down there somewhere.

Feeling kinda blue about Animal Crossing Pocket Camp shutting down tomorrow. I've played every day since discovering it a little over a year ago. Wish I knew more about what will carry over to the new app. Should I eat all my fortune cookies? Spend all my bells? Use my maps?😔

Today I showered (chronic illness folks know that's a win), worked on a Christmas present, made lemon poppyseed cupcakes, and homemade Mac and cheese. Would be a five star day, but the fact that I accidentally zested off 1/3 of my thumbnail loses at least one star.😖

The piece of fingernail I zested off is the exact part I use to hit the space bar while typing, and I only use the space bar with one hand. This is going to be challenging. At least I have editing to do before I go back to drafting.😑

Two questions: 1: Why does the president even have the power to nominate so many public officials that affect everyone's lives so intensely? Why aren't they elected? 2: Disabled folks on Medicaid, do we have a plan? I need my meds. I have no idea what I'll do if I lose them.
