Besides institutional changes, and maybe I’ve missed this in other stories, why aren’t restaurants lobbying locally & nationally to do away with a tipped minimum wage & start shifting to good pay and the same no-tipping policies in place in many first world & thriving economies.

I love “name” exactas & am kicking myself for missing the best one of the day..Fire At Will & Battleground!! I did have $3 win on Fire at a price...$90 for my $3 🤑👏🐎 Good Luck tomorrow! Julie T.
Don’t fret. I think I went 1 for 10. Thankfully that one was Essential Quality so at least I have that to think about and not a goose egg. Good luck tomorrow.

She had a show bet on him, so she’s happy.
It was a tune every kid new off by heart, thanks for the memory.
I liked her because she jumped in the air last start and also my wife’s name is Julie, of course she didn’t back, now kicking herself.
Looks like She's a Julie got her nose down. I wouldn't have had her today at all!

Hit the exacta with a $6 investment, put secret message in and left off Zofelle, should have also played the trifecta.

Lanerie with a masterful ride, hit the seem with 50 yards to go and just outnodded by Secret Message. I hope you played the "exacta as a place bet" on the blog 25/1 over 25/1. keeneland.com/media/news/kee…

Love listening to Tappy’s yarns on my morning walks, brings back lots of memories from the 70’s. Thanks for the photo of 2 of the best race callers now & then.
John Tapp and me outside the Hollywood Park booth in 1990. John announced for two weeks, with me doing a race or two per day. His presence immeasurably helped a 24-year-old’s transition to the other side of the world. (And, yes, I would have selected a different shirt and tie!)

#TriviaTuesday Can you identify this jockey? In April of 1977, he visited the East Boston oval on his way to leading riding honors that year. Over 15,000 fans turned out to see him.

10 horses I’ve seen in person. 1 is a lie. Which one? 1. American Pharoah 2. Beholder 3. Arrogate 4. Justify 5. Wise Dan 6. Lady Aurelia 7. Highland Reel 8. Enable 9. Tepin 10. Roaring Lion
I love the .10 supers! It allows me to play this challenging wager, which is hard to hit, and not cost too much. At $1 minimum, the Derby never gets my super money-Santa Anita got quite a bit & I managed to hit one that more than paid for them all I played...
