Most doctors are unaware that Gabapentin can cause dependency and withdrawal symptoms, so they often prescribe it as an alternative to opioids to help manage post-surgical pain. Unfortunately, this well-meaning attempt to avoid opioids is creating a new problem. #Gabapentinoids
