📚✨ #InternationalArchivesWeek2026 | #ArchivesForJustice Today, we spotlight the South African History Archive (SAHA), located in the Wits Education Library. SAHA is a human rights archive dedicated to documenting, preserving and promoting awareness of past and contemporary struggles for justice through archival preservation, outreach and access to information. Among its significant holdings are collections relating to South Africa's Truth and Reconciliation Commission (TRC). These records continue to resonate today, gaining renewed public interest through the work of the Khampepe Commission of Inquiry, which is investigating the political suppression of investigations and prosecutions linked to TRC cases. 🔗 Learn More: saha.org.za/ Explore Wits Archives: wits.ac.za/historicalpapers/ #WitsForGood #IAW2026 #WitsArchives
