Déjà du naming en 1453 🙄🙄🙄
The Coca Castle, constructed in 1453 by the esteemed bishop of Avila, Don Alonso de Fonseca, showcases an exceptional example of Spanish Mudéjar Gothic art. The architect Ali Caro oversaw the design and construction, with the support of a mint established in 1462 to finance the project. The castle's unique beauty lies in its Mudejar geometric decorations made of stucco and paintings, which are a testament to the era's architectural innovation. Unlike many other forts, Coca Castle is not built on a hill, but rather benefits from the natural protection of the cliff terrain, creating a unique and unrepeatable legacy.
