@IOHK_Charles , you’ve already done your part. You built the foundation and took Cardano to a point where it no longer depends on a single person. Very few in this industry can say that. With Voltaire, DReps, on-chain governance… you stepped back and let the system evolve on its own. And because of that, your role now is different. Getting into arguments on X with anyone doesn’t add value. It doesn’t build. And more importantly… it sends the wrong signal to the market. People outside don’t separate “Charles speaking” from “Cardano reacting.” That perception matters—and it impacts the entire DeFi ecosystem around it. Cardano was never meant to revolve around a central figure. It was designed to outgrow one. The philosophy from day one was clear: real decentralization, resilience, community-led decision making. If that’s what we stand for… then it has to be reflected in actions, not just words. Right now, leadership isn’t about responding to every critic. It’s about setting the tone, focusing on vision, and continuing to build what actually moves the ecosystem forward. Charles, Cardano doesn’t need a defender anymore. It needs a standard. If you have any sort of real money in crypto get a hardware wallet, protect yourself from yourself, key tracker virus exist for this sole purpose, aka see you type your seed into your actual wallet, but they are watching there is no such thing as free money, if its sounds to good to be true its a scam stay safe.
