ALT A man's face is doodled in the inner margin of this manuscript page. The shield next to the end of his nose is a green and white chequered design and the shield in the margin opposite has a red and white design with three roundels and a chevron .

ALT The images shows the red stone of the side wall of the Guesten in the early morning light on Friday. There are four windows in the images two very large and two half their size set into the stone. Behind the wall in the background can be made out a pinnacle in pale brown stone of the Cathedral. In the foreground is the lawn with frost on it.

ALT The engraving has philosophy represented by a woman seated on a thrown with a crown of laurels. Around her sit six younger women each of which represent various aspects of philosophy such as logic, rhetoric or ethics. Below them is a depiction of Aristotle standing with his left hand raised pointing upwards, and three scholastic doctors as well as the title of the book and author. In the lower section is some sort of courtroom or perhaps a university disputation. This black and white engraving was done at Cambridge by Roger Daniels.
