Yeah I'm not paying $100 a month to keep my bots going. This is stupid as hell. You know he's lying bc 1. There already is a verification process and 2. ID verification would be more than enough to stop bad actors.
Yeah, free API is being abused badly right now by bot scammers & opinion manipulators. There’s no verification process or cost, so easy to spin up 100k bots to do bad things.
Just ~$100/month for API access with ID verification will clean things up greatly.

Basically if your stats look off or if I don't respond, it's because I can't search through as many of your tweets because Twitter sets a very low limit to how many times I can search/tweet in a given time period. Twitter can fix this though by raising the limit.
