My Dad had a Kidney transplant a week ago. He had a heart transplant 2 years prior. I think it’s unique that he now has a 19 year old heart and a 30 year old kidney in a 70 year old body.
He is a great example of someone who has a high will to live!

SMH at our system in America. You can go to jail, come out and can’t vote or get a job, but a former president can be indicted in 4 different cases and still run for president? Excuse me, but who is running this country?? How is that okay and what is that teaching all of us?

Imagine a modern day take on the hit musical Hamilton mixed with the TV series The Get Down but set in Baltimore in the 90s!

Thanks to my pops for lending me his official dog tags from his 27 years in the Army. I’ll be wearing these when the BSO and I debut a new interpretation of Stravinsky’s “The Soldiers Tale” November 5th and 6th.

I was a student of Hip Hop growing up, but my taste in music has shifted to writing more classical and jazz pieces as I reached my 40’s. My life and music has evolved organically; nothing was forced.
