We're backing proposals to introduce paid 'safe leave' for victim-survivors of domestic abuse.
This would allow victim-survivors to access the support they need without risking their employment or further damaging their economic situation.

Prison population predicted to reach 100,000 by 2029 Yesterday's official data projects that the prison population will increase to between 95,700 and 105,200 by March 2029, with a central estimate of 100,800.
