About the Course
Time out for parents– The Early Years is a six session course written by parents and professionals. It will help provide an opportunity for parents who are bringing up a child within the early years to support and encourage each other.
Who is the course for
Parents and carers for children from birth to four years
Parents wanting general parenting guidance in supporting their child's social, behavioural and emotional needs
Course Aims
Improve self esteem and confidence
Understand Child development and parenting styles
Understand child's needs of attachment
Supports boundary setting
Improves social support
Enhanced parent /child relationship
Enhanced emotional well being
Clear understanding of social rules and behavioural expectations and consequences for children
