Why is the "For you" tab a leftist shithole? @elonmusk, can you recommend that "For you" is actually what I'm interested in? Thx

I believe in one God,
the Father almighty,
maker of heaven and earth,
of all things visible and invisible. I believe in one Lord Jesus Christ,
the Only Begotten Son of God,
born of the Father before all ages.
God from God, Light from Light,
true God from true God,
begotten, not made, consubstantial with the Father;
through him all things were made.
For us men and for our salvation
he came down from heaven,
and by the Holy Spirit was incarnate of the Virgin Mary,
and became man.
For our sake he was crucified under Pontius Pilate,
he suffered death and was buried,
and rose again on the third day
in accordance with the Scriptures.
He ascended into heaven
and is seated at the right hand of the Father.
He will come again in glory
to judge the living and the dead
and his kingdom will have no end. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life,
who proceeds from the Father and the Son,
who with the Father and the Son is adored and glorified,
who has spoken through the prophets. I believe in one, holy, catholic and apostolic Church.
I confess one Baptism for the forgiveness of sins
and I look forward to the resurrection of the dead
and the life of the world to come. Amen.

Never lose sight of this truth.
CS Lewis understood
Community note
There is no evidence or reason to believe C.S. Lewis ever said this, the quote most likely originates from John Trainer essentialcslewis.com/2015/10/31/chi…

Heaven exists. Hell exists. But in between them there is Purgatory, a place of purification, redemptive suffering and hope. It isn't a "Second Chance." It is a Refining Fire. "Nothing unclean shall enter Heaven" (Rev 21,27). Purgatory is not a middle ground between salvation and damnation. Every soul in Purgatory is already saved. They are destined for Heaven. But they are not yet ready. Just as gold must pass through fire to remove impurities, the soul must be purified of the temporal effects of sin before it can stand in the blinding light of God. The souls in Purgatory (The Church Suffering) experience a pain of loss that burns, but also a joy of certainty. But here is the catch: They cannot pray for themselves. Their time for merit is over. They rely entirely on US (The Church Militant) to offer Masses and prayers to shorten their time. Catechism of the Catholic Church paragraph 1472 adds: "To understand this doctrine [of Purgatory] and practice of the Church, it is necessary to understand that sin has a double consequence. Grave sin deprives us of communion with God and therefore makes us incapable of eternal life, the privation of which is called the ‘eternal punishment’ of sin. On the other hand, every sin, even venial, entails an unhealthy attachment to creatures, which must be purified either here on earth, or after death in the state called Purgatory." When you pray for the dead, you are literally unlocking a prison door. They cannot help themselves. But you can help them through: >Masses offered >Rosaries >Fasting >Indulgences >Almsgiving >The Heroic Act of Charity (offering all merits for the souls) This is an act of true mercy. When a soul enters Heaven thanks to your prayers they never forget. They pray for you. They become your eternal friend. And one day, when you are in need, they will return the favor. This is the communion of saints in action. Pray for them!
