#HeadlinesWeAreMissing This should be headline news. Todayās CPS stats show convictions for domestic abuse are down by 45% over the last 6 years. There were fewer #DomesticAbuse convictions in the last quarter than at the peak of covid, when most courts were closed. @RuthKDavison

Today the CPS have published their latest figures on domestic abuse. Sadly the outcomes continue to be distressing and unacceptable. Comparing year ending June 2022 to year ending June 2016, prosecutions are down 48% and convictions are down 46.8%. This cannot continue.
