ALT Manuscript Wishlist My bread and butter is adult rom com, especially the dry humor variety. If you can make me laugh out loud, I will be putty in your hands. One of my favorites is Accidentally Amy by Lynn Painter. I also love women’s fiction with romantic elements, but only if it has an HEA. I’m not the best fit for gut-wrenching angst in romance or women’s fiction. While YA isn’t my usual area of expertise, I am open to contemporary if I feel a strong connection to it. Outside of the romance space, my favorite genre to read is suspense/thriller.

ALT Mentor Bio Christie Curry spends her days as a data analyst and her nights writing rom coms, dreaming up characters to bring to life (and hilarious ways to torment them). She was a 2023 mentee of the Write Hive Mentorship program, and her flash fiction piece, “Here Comes the Sun,” was published in Full Mood Mag. A southern California native, she currently lives in Los Angeles with her husband, daughter, and a tiny dictator masquerading as a tuxedo cat.
