🚨 The Trump administration has moved to push through more than $6 billion in new arms sales to Israel by bypassing long-standing congressional oversight, and notifying Congress only an hour beforehand.
A statement from House Dems. Foreign Affairs Committee Ranking Member @RepGregoryMeeks states the administration is repeatedly ignoring Congress’ constitutional role, refusing to brief lawmakers on Gaza policy, and failing to justify bypassing the congressional review process. It also criticizes Secretary of State Marco Rubio for providing no documentation for the move.
