We lost the legendary Quorthon (Thomas Börje Forsberg), the visionary force behind BATHORY and one of the most influential figures in extreme metal history.
From helping shape black metal's dark foundations to pioneering the epic Viking metal sound, Quorthon's impact on heavy music remains immeasurable. His music inspired countless bands and continues to resonate with metal fans around the world.
Gone 22 years ago today, but his legacy lives on through every blast beat, every epic riff, and every warrior anthem.
