One of my favorite places in the area to take photos as well as just hang out is the swingset.
It’s several more miles away now where from where I’m located but still close enough to get to.
I can make it up there from time to time.
But the views are out of this world.

On the way back from Vegas last year, I stopped off for shots on both sides of the Hoover dam. Unfortunately, you can’t see the damn itself these days unless you take the tour. But the surrounding area is still spectacular to see.

I went for a short bike ride today maybe two or 3 miles got passed all the power poles and the signs of civilization. I used the Grand Wash cliffs as a backdrop to some pretty interesting shots of Joshua trees. One dead and two very healthy specimens. Hope you enjoy.

I have been asked why Arizona? This is a few of thousands of reasons. It’s nice and cool this evening. A gentle wind blowing, had a quick chat with the coyote. He needed directions. Seemed like he was limping on one of his legs. I’ll post a picture of him later.

I met this guy this morning. The owner of the campground has a guard turtle. That helps secure the main office. It also doubles as a pet pretty cool watching him just run around. Which is why the red paint on the edge of his shell. Sometimes he tries to cross the road.
