#ASAC24 is a really helpful conference. Diagnosis of Alzheimer’s is more complex than I thought. It’s not just a blood biomarker screening but a integrated system with community supports etc.

I just changed the HEPA filters of my CRbox on my desk. It's the first-time turning off and my room suddenly quiet that I can even hear my heartbeat. After changing, the new, clean, and white filters makes my desk even brighter. lolπŸ˜‚

EVERYDAY ASK(1/1) in midnight: Novavax (XBB), UK, available?πŸ˜… The updated Novavax has been approval for more than 2 months, so where can I get the new vaccine??? Do I need to be infected by a next-gen variant like JN.1 as a "toxccine"? Ridiculous!

Reply from more than 1 mo: GOOD NEWS: it will on in April. BAD NEWS: new variant is detected. I guess, in April, new JN.1 vaccine will be researched and approved. But the prevalent variants would be some grandgrandsons of BA.2.15.x or BA.2.87.x (newly found variants)

Today is #LongCovidAwarenessDay , 15/MAR, and it still half a month till the new (actually the outdated) vaccine on at April. However, the virus has evolve to the grandson of JN.1, KP.2. Nobody knows what's the majority variant in April, and nobody knows if it will still useful.

There are always someone believe that COVID is a flu, even including the media. Because both COVID and Flu have similar symptoms: cough, runny nose, fever etc. 1/n
Yellow is C0VlD deaths. Blue is flu deaths. C0VlD 20-40x more deadly. Stop calling it a flu. It’s no flu.

In my country, the public is not familiar with flu itself. Because it always causes endemic in some areas and with a name of H1N1 or N7N9 etc. Moreover, it do have a similar and easy-to-confused name with cold. 3/n

D**n, Anxiety controlled me recently. Anxiety on I know nothing about the conflicts on limited time and what I want to learn. And the threat of COVID spreading in winter to my parents and girlfriend. They even cannot keep their N95 masks always on their face. Ahhhhh!!!! ANXIETY!!

Life is always in a mess that it would take your time deal with it. Anxiety even stop me on reading some reviews on COVID and scRNA-seq articles... Keep clam, Keep clam, Keep clam. You will get everything done one by one.
