Just an FYI to you recruits deciding where to go play college football. ๐Ÿšจ You'll hear college coaches say we are about "family"..."culture"..."this relationship will last a lifetime"...etc. That is coach speak. Smoke in mirrors. I can tell you from experience those will be the same guys NOT picking up your calls or responding to your texts years later. The same grown men you sweat, fight, and bleed for will not reciprocate when you need it. Most of these guys are so stuck in the matrix that they only have the capacity to think of themselves. There are good ones far and few between. However, once you step on campus you become a number and will be treated according to how you can serve the guys in charge. They are worried about one thing - job security. So when you are choosing where to go play - make the best decision for ONE person. YOU!

How about we got โ€œquarterback coachesโ€ who donโ€™t think footwork and rhythm are an important thing for throwing

As a guy who coached QBโ€™s forever this is what I emphasized: Be a leader. Make great decisions, Take Care of the ball. Get us in the right play. All the other stuff is secondary.

We got "quarterback coaches" out here worried about "arm slots" more than how to develop their own kids ๐Ÿคฃ
