The only issue with XRP right now is "liquidity", once this problem is solved XRPL is miles ahead of ETH,, it's not even a comparison for me. To tokenize an asset on XRPL, you don't need to write an external smart contract (ERC-20 code) like you do on Ethereum. The token creation function is already built into the core of the network. The risk of code errors or smart contract hacks is zero. Transaction fees are practically non existent (a tiny fraction of a cent), and transactions achieve finality in 3-5 seconds. Thanks to features like "Authorized Trustlines" and "Freeze", the issuing institution can apply KYC/AML to token holders and, if necessary, freeze accounts due to regulatory requirements. Institutional finance wants exactly this As I said the only downside is liquidity. The ecosystem size and liquidity pool are not as aggressive and versatile as Eth.
