My second highlighted game of Day 2 at the Marble City Invitational was a straight-up slugfest between ETA โ27 Osborne and Lady Vision Fortner'27, a game built on toughness, grit, and heart from start to finish.
Lady Vision came out swinging early, setting the tone with aggressive play and jumping out to a 12-3 lead after the first quarter. It looked like they might run away with it, but ETA had other plans. In the second quarter, they started to settle in, shots began to fall, and the energy flipped. Possession by possession, they chipped away at the lead until it was a one-point game at halftime, 19-18.
The third quarter picked up offensively on both sides, with each team trading buckets and refusing to give an inch. Lady Vision held onto a slim 38-36 lead heading into the fourth, but you could feel the tension building with every trip down the floor.
The final quarter was not for the faint of heart. ETA came out with relentless energy, taking the lead early with pure grit and determination. Lady Vision fought back every step of the way, refusing to fold, but ETAโs toughness and timely plays proved to be the difference as they completed the comeback and secured a hard-fought 47-44 win.
