Our most recent story delves into the realm of small RNAs in hvKp🧬! Led by @KJwushuguy, he applied RIL-seq to unravel the Hfq-mediated RNA-RNA interaction network, and revealed the capsule gene loci as a major hub for sRNAs to regulate capsule physiology.

Our latest publication, led by @changkc_, examines the role of short-chain fatty acids in deterrence against Klebsiella pneumoniae and Enterobacteriaceae species. Longer SCFA alkyl chain lengths exert more potent inhibition!
