We have been thinking about aerial views in Geography today. We looked carefully at an aerial photograph of our local area and labelled the key features. We were very excited to use Google Earth and explore where in the world we are. #curiosity@YPSGeography#teamwork
In Geography, we are continuing our unit on population. This afternoon we are learning to recognise the push and pull factors which influence migration. We are sorting them into environmental, economic and social. @YPSGeography

We're learning about the importance of trading responsibly in @YPSGeography. Miss Perkins has challenged us to look at food labels of items we can find at home or at the supermarket over the weekend. We now know what 'fair trade' is and the importance of supporting our farmers.

Thank you to those of you who visited us this morning for our @YPSGeography workshop. It was very interactive, and all pupils were able to show brilliant retrieval skills from our current topic.
Our new Geography topic is all about the rainforests of the world. We'll be trying to answer the question: Should we save the rainforests? Here's our initial ideas. @YPSGeography
