The #Yorkshire regional final of the @geolsoc Early Career Geologist awards is taking place tomorrow, Tuesday 9th February 2021 @ 6pm. We have two fantastic presentations lined up, with young industry professionals from @AECOM and @ArupGroup. We look forward to seeing you all!

We have had a slight change to the upcoming event on 'Underground Hydrogen Storage' being delivered by Dr James Woodman. The event will now take place on the 25th May at 6pm at the Adelphi in Leeds. We hope to see you there.

Dr James Woodman will be giving a talk on Wednesday 18th May 2022 at 6pm on the topic of 'Underground Hydrogen Storage'. This promises to be an interesting talk on a subject that is becoming increasingly popular. The talk will be held on zoom, a link will follow soon.

We are kicking the 2021 @geolsoc Year of Space with a talk on Mars. Steve Banham @ICPlanetologist, a research fellow at Imperial College London, will be giving a talk titled Mars: Planet of Sedimentologists via MS Teams at 6pm on Wed 20th Jan 2021. Link to follow.
