Young Strathclyder is a University of Strathclyde widening participation programme for primary and secondary schools & incorporates the Accelerate Challenges.
Ideas shape the future. So do the people who design it.
At Accelerate, S5–S6 pupils explore Politics and Product Design through real university challenges – from debating political issues to designing innovative products.📅 22–26 June | University of Strathclyde

We had a fantastic visit from Cuthbertson Primary 6. So many questions and such inquisitive pupils, a joy to work with. A brilliant day for new 5 mentors, 2 returning top mentors working their first shift of the year and 3 experienced mentors keeping up their great work so far!
We started off in the University court for our Business activity, lead by Jovana with Jodi and Robyn, on their first shifts. We moved rooms for Emma to lead HaSS with another of our new mentors, David, before we wrapped up with our STEM experiment led by Jessica, Arsal and Holly.
We had a very funday with P6 pupils from Annette St Primary this Wednesday. Some amazing book covers, like this super impressive dragon! Miky, Nandni and Ben were reunited with the school they loved working with last year. Paige, Reiss and Tana delivered HaSS & STEM in style!
Last Wednesday we had Dunard Primary 6 pupils visit us on the @UniStrathclyde campus. The pupils tested a science experiment, got creative with book covers and shouted some brand logos at our mentors. We had a great day with the pupils and as ever our mentor team did great work.
