Bellinger is a Scott Boras client.
And negotiating with Scott Boras is a nightmare.
Here’s David Samson (ex Marlins President) explaining what the process is like:
Year after year of injuries with this guy.
When you need him most his body completely falls apart.
Can’t wait until they are out of Stanton’s contract.
A one dimensional player who can only swing the bat is not good for the team.
Another hitting coach working with Caleb Durbin has entered the chat 👀
Who is it? Richard Schenck, Aaron Judge’s personal hitting coach.

*IF* the Padres decide to deal Tatis he would become a very intriguing trade candidate for the Yankees
Yankees are borderline to lefty heavy right now, Jazz is a FA after this season you and could slot him in the OF or IF, & Stanton is off the books soon
Do I think the Padres trade him? Probably not it depends on how soon they want out of the contract.
Could play him at 2B and OF and occasionally fill in at SS if needed.
Seems pretty valuable and with Stanton off the books he could take over that RHB presence once he leaves.
The way the Yankees handle the playing time of their rookie and younger players (not named Anthony Volpe) is a disaster.
They often times opt to use them as platoon players & the “start and sit” game they play with their young players wrecks their development & hot swing.
Have to make sure Volpe gets his reps at SS instead of Cabby though…can’t sit the golden boy.
I’d much rather take my chances with Jones left on left than with that bum Anthony Volpe.
