Signing both Barcola and Diomande would be exciting, but it could also slow Rio Ngumoha's development. Ngumoha isn't an ordinary academy player he's one of Liverpool's brightest talents and needs a realistic pathway to first-team football. Bringing in two young attackers who would expect significant minutes only creates an unnecessary bottleneck. Sign one of Barcola or Diomande and invest the remaining resources elsewhere. Liverpool still have other areas of the squad to strengthen, and protecting the pathway for elite young talent should remain a priority.

Yan Diomande is the player Liverpool should be going ALL IN for. When the best coach in world football, Luis Enrique, is prepared to move on from a 23-year-old Bradley Barcola to bring in a 19-year-old Diomande, that tells you everything you need to know about his talent and ceiling. Luis Enrique wants him for a reason. Yan Diomande isn't just another exciting youngster he's a game-changer in the making. Pace. Flair. Confidence. End product. The kid has it all. Liverpool need to stop hesitating and make their move before the rest of Europe catches up. @LFC, make this happen. 🙏🔴 #LFC #YNWA

“I’m 100%. Missing games for Liverpool was part of the plan to make sure I was ready for the World Cup” " IF " he said this, then it's a joke. Completely unprofessional, disrespectful, and a low blow no matter how you look at it. Love Alli, but this is way out of line.

I genuinely dont rate Barcola , just a quicker version of Gakpo with dreadlocks 👀

Elliot Anderson would’ve been the perfect midfielder for Liverpool. We should absolutely be in for him. I rate Wharton and Scott highly, but Anderson is clear of both for me. 🔴🔥

I know it’s a controversial take, but I’d be happy if Liverpool signed Rashford. He’s in his prime years, has a point to prove, and still has unfinished business in the Premier League. For all the criticism he gets, I’d honestly back him to offer more than Gakpo right now. And let’s be honest ... if Rashford ends up winning trophies at Liverpool after being written off by United, the meltdown from United fans alone might make the transfer worth it 😂😂😂
Liverpool fans, should Liverpool sign Rashford? Yes or no?

£129m for Julian Alvarez? Football has gone mad, apparently. Not like Man Utd spent £90m on Lukaku back in 2017 👀 Because prices staying exactly the same for a decade is definitely how the world works - IDIOT
150 mil for Alvarez 😆

A senior centre-back should be one of the club's top priorities this summer. As talented as Jeremy Jacquet and Giovanni Leoni are, expecting either to step straight into a starting role week in, week out, at their age is asking a lot. Young defenders develop differently to attackers. Mistakes are magnified, confidence can be fragile, and consistency usually comes with experience. The ideal situation is to bring them into a stable environment alongside Van Dijk who can guide them through the transition to senior football. Throwing them straight into the deep end as first-team regulars carries unnecessary risk. That's why I'm genuinely surprised there hasn't been a stronger push for Marcos Senesi. He's available on a free transfer, has Premier League experience, is entering his prime years, and perhaps most importantly, already knows exactly what Andoni Iraola demands from his centre-backs. Senesi was a key part of Iraola's Bournemouth side, understands the intensity, defensive structure and build-up patterns, and wouldn't require a lengthy adaptation period. In a market where proven defenders are commanding huge fees, signing a player of his profile without a transfer fee feels like a logical opportunity. Maybe there are concerns behind the scenes regarding wages, fitness or long-term planning, but from the outside looking in, it feels like one of the more obvious deals available. Relying solely on potential is rarely the recipe for immediate success. Balancing youth with proven experience is usually what gives teams the strongest foundation. Bizarre

Damn. Conor Bradley’s injury has really taken its toll. Wishing him a speedy recovery and hoping to see him back doing what he loves soon. 🙏
🚨 NEW: Conor Bradley is understood to be targeting a return to training shortly after the new season starts. Liverpool will take a cautious approach with him. [@davidlynchlfc]

Mo Salah isn’t just one of the greatest goalscorers the Premier League has ever seen. He might genuinely be one of the most outrageous passers of a football we've ever seen. The goals get the headlines. The vision, weight of pass, creativity and chance creation are on another level. A goalscorer. A playmaker. A phenomenon 🇪🇬👑

Lets be real he probably saw Florian Wirtz struggle in the Premier League and decided against moving to England. Fair play.
🚨❌ EXCL | Rejection in the last hours: Despite Liverpool’s intensive efforts, Hertha BSC gem Kennet Eichhorn will not join the Reds.#LFC Eichhorn wants to stay in Germany. Leverkusen are pushing hard for a permanent deal as revealed last night. Leipzig remain hopeful. The 16 y/o has decided against a move to England, even though Liverpool’s offer was the most attractive at first glance - both financially and in terms of the club’s stature. The offer from Liverpool was higher than those of all German clubs competing for Eichhorn. @SkySportDE 🇩🇪
