Re-watched "Howard" on Disney ...what a fantastic documentary. Short & sweet, a must-see for anyone interested in how the 'Disney Renascence Era' truly began. But what bothers me...is that with no physical media distribution, if it's ever taken it off Disney , it's gone...

With no physical media distribution, the documentary solely exists on this single streaming platform. I’ve seen other docs & mini-series disappear overnight because licensing rights expired…

So to ensure this and others like it live on beyond the digital realm, I'd love to see at least some form of physical distribution, even if in limited special edition quantities, to ensure documentaries like this are always obtainable.

I'm seeing a lot of people sharing clips of 'The Shining' & 'Popeye' today...but not nearly enough of 'Shelley Duvall's Mother Goose Rock 'n' Rhyme'. Rest in Peace

Whenever I see people online try to argue that the Disney Theme Parks aren't meant for adults, or should only allow adults with children...I think of Walt Disney's dedication speech for Disneyland: "To ALL that come to this happy place, welcome. Disneyland is your land."

For those curious, here are the books I used as part of my research for the Wizard of Oz episode (excluding some on Kindle). They contain even more fascinating photographs/information about the films production, so I highly recommend.

Universal really knocked it out of the park with the new tribute store…and even managed to give ‘Howard the Duck’ some love.

Holy crap, have I really gone almost 3 months without posting on Twitter (X)? I decided to take a little break from social media...and evidently fell into a black void. That said, a new episode of Yesterworld is on the way, so stay tuned!

One of the saddest stories within-a-story has to be the background subplot within Shrek. Act I: Mama Bear, Papa Bear, and Baby Bear are forced into captivity. Stuffed into cages. We're left wondering their fate...

Act II: We see that tragically, Mama Bear has been killed; skinned and made into a rug for Lord Farquaad. But what about Papa Bear & Baby Bear?

Act III: It's revealed that Papa Bear & Baby Bear were spared. Despite their unfathomable loss of Mama Bear, somehow they manage to bury their grief long enough to celebrate Shrek & Fiona's wedding. The End.

One of my favorite film history stories will always be about the original Death Star prop...which wound up at a random antique store in Missouri. Imagine making that kind of discovery today.

Fun Fact: There's a scene in Loki season 2 (Ep. 5) where Short Round's hat from Indiana Jones is visible on the table.

Next time you watch ‘The Muppet Christmas Carol’, notice the 2 extras who accidentally reach the end of the set and stand in front of it awkwardly waiting for the scene to end.

Not to be one of those people...but IF you're going to make a movie with live action characters interacting with CGI (or cartoon) characters...make sure their eyelines match up, because it makes or breaks the illusion.
