How do we not have some sort of oversight into published packages to NPM?
The malicious code within these supply chain attacks is usually quite bad as of late, wouldn’t a basic AI scan identify the malicious code and just deny the package update before it’s published to millions of people?
It really doesn’t seem that complicated
