I note that Cambridge university has refused to publicly list the names of donors with links to slavery in their interim report on slavery and how the university has benefited from it.

Many of the racist tropes of the past were also used to suppress women's rights. EG Alexander Crummell was the first graduate of African descent from Cambridge University in the 1840s - women were not officially allowed to graduate until 1948.
