Short 🧵following some checking of our smart meter data from before and after our @JASolarOfficial #solar panel and @GivEnergy #battery install. Comparing the 7 days usage before the install against the 7 days after. As it would happen, consumption was the same at 135kWh.

Hi @OctopusElectro I have been listening to the latest podcast with @MattRGDavies and @GinnyBuckley in which Matt mentions that @GRIDSERVE_HQ are partners. This would be great but I'm certain this is not the case. Can you confirm? pca.st/episode/9b5e801a-ec52…

I've never quite understood why Gridserve are not partners. In fact it actively discourages me from using them on long journeys. It's almost as if they are actively avoiding linking up. 🤷‍♂️

Want a gas boiler? In it goes. Want a heat pump?... good luck with your local authority. 30-40% of customers who order a heat pump from us need planning permission and it's an absolute killer. This is nuts... thetimes.com/uk/environment/…

I had a notification about the availability of this @Synology DSM update this morning so it seems that they are now actively pushing it. As a Video Station user, if I wish to continue to use it, I cannot update.

Heads up Citrix admins with environments that have App Protection enabled and who are preparing for W11 24H2 update that was release yesterday, you need to read this KB. Session launch might fail when anti keylogging feature is enabled with App Protection buff.ly/4dwziIf

The Dragon spacecraft is now below 3 psi, more than halfway to their goal of just under 1 psi. It was 8.6 before the depressurization began. Watch live: youtube.com/watch?v=daEIqRJL…

Tonight, NASA and Boeing are set to undock the Starliner spacecraft and begin its journey back to Earth. This will bring the Crew Flight Test mission to an end, but without the crew onboard. Before the mission finale, we're taking a look back at CFT and NASA's decision to return astronauts Butch Wilmore and Suni Williams on a SpaceX Crew Dragon spacecraft instead of Starliner. If you are a @Synology user and use Video Station you need to read this and most importantly DO NOT UPDATE to DSM 7.2.2 as Video Station is removed from this version. I make use of this package on a daily basis so the loss of this, without any warning, is a huge issue to my UX.

It is quite something that we are now accustomed to the press just printing lies and making things up. Regardless of the year, there is NO ban on people driving their petrol and diesel cars. There is a phasing out of the sale of new only petrol and diesel cars over the next decade, but no restrictions on the purchase or use of used petrol and diesel cars. Thank you @colinwalker79 for highlighting this latest example...
So @TheSun has claimed that the UK has a "target of getting all petrol and diesel cars off the roads in just over a decade" This is not just misleading, it's straight-up wrong - and needs correcting immediately A thread on why

Loving the medals per capita stats. Suddenly all the big countries that celebrate “dominating” the Olympics get put a little bit back into their place. Truly puts sporting endeavours into context: medalspercapita.com/#medals-…

Just spotted on our roof. Video is not great but someone might identify these as either wasps or bees. They look a bit small for wasps but I'm no expert.

Money well spent... 🙄
Elon Musk, the world’s richest person, is donating $45 million a month to the Trump campaign. If democracy is to survive in the US, we need to overturn Citizens United and move to public funding of elections. We need a government that represents all, not just billionaires.
