We had a VIP visit today from Commodore Tim Henry the Commander of British forces Gibraltar who got amongst the cadets and welcomed them to Gibraltar.

Today the cadets visited the Royal Navy Gibraltar Squadron. They were given a tour of one of the patrol boats and also got the chance to press all the buttons and rev the engine of a quick response Rigid Inflatable... facebook.com/yorkshireacf/po…

This morning cadets in Gibraltar took part in fieldcraft training (in preparation for the exercise later in the week) where they carried out field formations, section attacks and tactical withdrawal......then it was off to the beach in the afternoon for some R&R.......

Our cadets and adult volunteers spent today getting acclimatised in Gibraltar. A cable car ride to the top of 'The Rock' revealed spectacular views and introduced us all to the resident very cheeky little monkeys.....
